Home Is My Happy Place
May 2018
CUE Art Foundation Gallery, NYC
October 2017 - May 2018, I was part of the CUE Teen Collective at the CUE Art Foundation. One of the highlights of the program was where the teens planned a group exhibition in the CUE’s gallery space called, Home. I used the exhibit as an opportunity to show how fashion is my happy place, like another form of home, by creating a dress made from my original textile designs that I printed on Japanese kozo paper.
Size: 24” height x 20” width x 13 depth
Medium: Relief prints on kozo paper, found materials of wood and paper for the stand.
